Instagram is shutting down its Snapchat-like messaging app Threads by the end of December. The app was launched in October 2019 to allow users to share their photos and videos with close friends. Separately, Instagram is working on an ability to add music to feed posts. It is being tested in India — alongside Brazil and Turkey.
